FUTURESPHERE ABOUT US   The Futuresphere is an adult training facility situated in Christ Church Grammar School. It offers a 'state of the art' Information Technology Centre designed and developed to ensure the school is at the forefront of Information Communication Technologies. The FutureSphere enables students and teachers to have hands on experience with emerging technologies and enable all students to develop the skills to be adaptive, confident users of technology. In addition to providing outstanding facilities to students and staff the FutureSphere delivers adult IT based courses to the community, provides a venue and resources for conferences and meetings and delivers professional development opportunities to teachers in this State. The FutureSphere is comprised of three computer studios, an open space presentation area, a laptop lounge, four ‘high tech’ classrooms, a multimedia room and a futures room. A comprehensive Help Desk provides technical support and the loan of a range of equipment including digital cameras, scanners, graphic tablets and portable hard drives.
