CREATE AND MANAGE YOUR OWN WEB SITE

The web consists of millions of pages of information available to Internet users around the world. In this introductory course you will create a live web site using HTML and learn about other options. Topics include formatting, linking, anchoring, graphics, uploading and finding resources. PCs used but also suitable for Macintosh.

What is covered in this course

- Understand how websites are created using HTML
- Learn some of the common HTML coding
- Create a website with two or three pages using links, graphics, lists, and varous formats.
- Upload the site to a server and make the site live
- Understand how to make the site more visible on the Internet
- Understand how software programs can be used to help the design and creation process.
