FUTURESPHERE FACILITIES   Technical Facilities The FutureSphere has over 80 Apple G5 iMac computers, all networked and internet enabled. Each iMac has a DVD player / CD writer and a comprehensive suite of applications including Microsoft Office 2004, Macromedia Studio MX 2004, Final Cut Express v1.0.1 and Adobe Photoshop 7. The centre is cabled with Cat 6 data cable, all data ports are capable of running at 10/100/1000 Base-T. Wireless access points are also located in the centre and run both 802.11b & 802.11g standards. Internet Access is available with a 10mb link to the outside world. Interactive Whiteboards In each of the computer studios and integrated throughout the campus are SMART Board Interactive Whiteboards. These boards provide a digital hub in the studios where both the teachers and students can interact meaningfully with the technology.
